Franklin Street Works
About Franklin Street Works
Located in historic row houses, the Franklin Street Works building was originally two homes for working-class families. Few buildings of this sort remain in the city and the art space is situated betwen 1980s corporate architecture, parking lots and offices built from the 1940s to today. The space now hosts three galleries and a cafe. Its exterior's scale and demeanor are domestic and inviting. Once inside, its thoughtfully renovated with a mix of post-modernist architectural details, track lighting, and exposed brick frame.
A not-for-profit contemporary art space, cafe, and social gathering place. Showcasing original on-site and off-site exhibitions, artist projects and related programming.
