Founded in 2004, Funky Munky Music has become a hub for musicians of all ages and influence. Funky Munky Music is Kansas City’s premiere location for music lessons, sales and repair of musical equipment and for promoting and helping local bands to network amongst themselves. Professionals, hobbyists and beginning musicians of all ages come in our store for events, lessons, to purchase instruments and PA equipment, to browse inventory and to speak with others of the same mind set.
We offer Guitars, Drums, Amps, PA Gear, Home Recording Gear, and Accessories, both New & Used, for buy, sell, trade or rental. We have an extensive lesson program for ALL instruments including private lessons, classes, clinics, and Rock Band workshops, as well as a service department experienced in repairs on ALL instruments.
