About Willow Creek Cafe

D.H Lorging was the orginial tinner housed here. In 1904 Louis schmidt combined what was three buildings and expanded the tin and hardware business. The building is most noted by the large one story edifice of pressed tin still existing out front today. Other distinguished trademarks are the large expansive glass windows and huge front doors. This is characteristic of the Ford dealership that L.F. Eckert operated for a number of years. For the better part Angela along with son Chase have operated a very relaxed and comfortable place where locals and out of towners can come and feel at home.
