Copper Beach Manor
About Copper Beach Manor
Built in 1857, this large brick Federal was home to Jonathan Nesbit and his sister who were some of Lewisburg's early residents. He is also credited with building the nearby Presbyterian and Lutheran churches.
An addition to the original home was built in 1861 which included a hidden room on the third floor, claimed to have been a refuge for slaves on the Underground Railroad.
Our gourmet breakfast served daily includes coffee/tea, selections of juices, fresh fruit, homemade muffins or breads and a breakfast entree. In addition, the Copper Beech has four spacious common rooms which are ideal for relaxing and reading.
