About The Englert Theatre
The Englert Theatre is a 730-seat venue in the heart of downtown Iowa City. A National Historic Landmark, the Englert underwent a 5-million dollar renovation and reopened in December of 2004 for live performance. Since then, the Englert has hosted hundreds of events including musicals, concerts, readings, lectures, movies, weddings, receptions, and more.
