About The Club at Old Hawthorne
The Community of Old Hawthorne is a private residential community nestled in the rolling hills just a few minutes east of downtown Columbia, Missouri.
Since opening in 2007, we've been warmly received as the place for a great round of golf and the hottest new community in Mid-Missouri!
The Club at Old Hawthorne sits on 631 acres of what was once a horse farm, hence the horse featured in our logo. So, where stallions once romped and roamed the rolling hills, today golfers stride manicured fairways and families select wooded lots to put down their own roots.
The original portion of the clubhouse was built in 1938 as an exact replica of President Andrew Jackson's home, "The Hermitage."
