Celeste Murdick's Fudge
About Celeste Murdick's Fudge
Celeste's great-grandfather, Newton Jerome Murdick, developed and perfected the process of "creaming" fudge on a marble slab in the summer of 1887 on Mackinac Island. The fact that he was to be the founder of one of the most successful "cottage industries" in American history, probably never crossed his mind; but the delight on the faces of those fortunate few to be the first to sample his creation must certainly have caught his attention, and must have brought an even bigger smile to his face.
After five generations we still make it the same way and are now offering 17 flavors with freshness and quality guaranteed.
