Local history museum featuring rotating exhibits, educational programs & community events, reference library-archives (by appt.), gift shop, mini-tourism center & info on driving Route 66 and Jefferson Highway in Jasper County.Powers Museum is gift from Marian Powers Winchester (1905-1981) & museum's name honors her parents, Dr. Everett Powers (1869–1954) and Marian Wright Powers (1880–1969).
