About Madison Artists Guild
The Madison Artists Guild was founded in 1985 by a handful of talented local artists who wanted simply to get together to work, socialize, and share ideas. Over the last 20-plus years, we’ve grown to more than 100 members—yet we’ve managed to remain a grassroots organization with a diverse, inclusive, and informal character.
Among our membership are painters, photographers, graphic artists and illustrators, writers, poets, woodworkers, carvers, jewelry makers, musicians, potters, fabric artists, faux finishers, gardeners, and food artisans, as well as people who just like art
