Everything you’ve heard about the beautiful and luxurious Sun Valley Lodge is true. This historic hotel, built in 1936, caters to a guest’s every desire. Dining options at the hotel are numerous—breakfast and lunch at Gretchen’s, dinner at the Lodge Dining Room, and drinks at the Duchin Lounge. There is also a heated outdoor pool, beauty salon, spa, fitness room, and bowling alley/game room for the kids.
Our friendly and knowledgeable concierge can help you plan all your local activities, of which there are many. Be sure not to miss one of the famous summer ice shows on Sun Valley’s outdoor ice rink while you’re here, or hiking and biking on one of the numerous trail networks in the area. And in the winter, take the free shuttle over to Bald Mountain to spend a day skiing fresh powder and then come back to the Lodge for some relaxing après-ski time by the fire.
