he first movie theatre in Jonesborough was called the “Blue Mouse Theatre” and had a showing on August 5, 1922 of Buck Jones in the western, “The Big Punch”. Today, shops including an exclusive ladies boutique take the place of what later became the “Jackson Theatre”.
