About Braehead Manor

Come stay in the midst of history! On the morning of the 1st Battle of Fredericksburg, General Robert E. Lee, took breakfast at Braehead before taking his command post on what is now known as Lee's Hill. Exquisitely decorated and restored this 1859 manor will meet all your expectations and then some. Located within the bounds of the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park on 27 peaceful acres Braehead Manor is the perfect place to stay for your visit to Fredericksburg or for a night away if you are local. We are minutes from downtown shops and restaurants. We offer three private rooms each with their own bathroom. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the formal dining room. We offer a variety of packages to make your stay even more special. The home retains much of the original furniture of the 19th century.
