The Atchison Center is not only the home of the HCC Technical Center, but also offers a variety of general education courses for the student working on an Associate degree. Courses in English, psychology, biology, anatomy, and algebra generally begin from 3:00 to 6:00 in the evenings and on Saturday. There is a variety of occupationally related courses offered in the evening as well. Students can enroll in Engineering Graphic courses (CAD), allied health courses such as Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA). Our class sizes are small; our student teacher ratio is 10 to 1. A student has the opportunity to work full time and take college courses at night.
